Summary

• StereoShift only accesses photos/videos you explicitly select.
• StereoShift does not require access to your entire media library.
• Media conversion is performed on-device and works offline.
• We do not upload your media to our servers.
• Local Network Sharing (Web Share) is optional and works only on your local network. Access requires a PIN shown in the app.

Data We Access

• Selected media only: The app reads only items you choose via picker/import.
• Add-only Photos permission (optional): Used only when you choose “Save to Photos”.
• In-app gallery files: Saved locally on your device when you choose in-app save.
• Local Network Sharing (optional): When enabled, the app serves your in-app gallery items over your local network so you can view them in a browser.

Local Network Sharing (Web Share)

StereoShift can optionally start a local web page to browse and preview items from your in-app gallery from another device on the same Wi-Fi / local network.

• Local network only: Sharing is intended for devices on the same local network.
• PIN required: The app shows a 4-digit PIN. The browser must enter the PIN before access is granted.
• No upload to us: Media stays on your device. We do not receive your media.
• Your responsibility: Anyone on your local network who knows the device address and the PIN may be able to access the shared page. Use Web Share only on networks you trust and stop Web Share when you are done.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No account registration data.
• No media upload to cloud servers.
• No sale of personal data.
• No requirement for internet connection to convert media.

On-Device Processing

StereoShift runs conversion locally using Apple frameworks (including Neural Engine / GPU acceleration when available). Your photos and videos are processed on your device.

Data Retention

• Outputs saved to the in-app gallery remain on your device until you delete them.
• Outputs saved to Photos are managed by your Photos app and iCloud settings.

Children's Privacy

StereoShift is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
